What's it like up there on trees and power lines? Roads getting bad?
1/2 inch of ice on lines and trees roads fair temp hovering at 32 more rain on the way. not bad yet.
That sounds like NW OK. We used to live in Cimarron and Texas counties in the past, and ice storms were worse than anything else.
Now, last night we got about 1/4" of ice where we are now. At least, there was that much on the steps and landing going into our RV. Woke up this morning to 14 degrees and this panorama from said steps and landing...
While it might be colder (temperature wise) and more precipitation here, the lower humidity and being at the base of a mountain with less wind makes the colder temps easier to take than places with higher humidity and winds.
Oh, and this makes living here worthwhile as well. "Robbers at the Bird Bath."
32 degrees, and very little ice on the trees. Roads are too warm for ice to form on them. Light rain at the moment around Ponca City.
Is it to keep sparks contained?
Dryer tub?
