I watched that line of storms barreling towards Ada at nearly 70mph. We were ready to go to the shelter. Watching my little home weather station and knew the front was right on top of us when the winds started to shift to the west. We could hear sirens, got a little bit of rain (.22"), minimal thunder/lightning, and then nothing. The line of storms came thru like a freight train but everything over us just seemed to dissipate right on top of us. Very thankful it happened that way. I've been stressing a little over it most of the day.
Me too....the storm line split before it got to me and I got maybe 25/30 MPH winds and a little rain. I feel for the people that did catch the brunt of it though.Per the weather app, it doesn’t look like I got more than a 1/2-3/4 inch.
OEC is reporting just over 8800 customers without electricity in Cleveland County. Looks like they’re mostly in east Norman and Noble.
The man on tv just mentioned the rotation will likely go south of Inola. I’m 3 miles north of Inola so there’s not a very good chance that some new lawn furniture will get carried to my yard.
There’s a chance I can sell chainsaws tomorrow. I better mark the prices up!
Well, I'm turning in. All this weather chasing and listening to Payne sayin Val is "east bound and down" has me plumb wore out.
