We just drop leaflets around an individual tanker truck so the driver can get away before a million dollar smart bomb destroys it to show how tough we are against ICIS, yet are still humanitarian toward collateral damage.

News outlets, including MSNBC, BBC, CBS News and CNN, broadcast live scenes as reporters toting cameras and microphones pushed through the open door and reported from inside the apartment in Redlands, California.

One MSNBC reporter was seen examining items left on the suspects' desk, at one point picking up a child-rearing book. CNN journalists described seeing driver's licenses, social security cards and shredded documents inside the residence. A group of photographers zeroed in on a pile of papers that were laid out on a bed.

It is my understanding that law enforcement had already released the property back to the landlord...if true, there is nothing wrong with what occurred (other than the ridiculous media frenzy lol).

We are very lucky this husband/wife team were so inept. If there had been more of them, if they had been better trained, and had they been able to build IEDs that worked, this would've been much worse.

Watching that Rook approach the SUV trapped between Bearcats, I just kept thinking about standoff, the 5 Cs, pressure waves etc....we got lucky.

Man Suspected Of Scouting Paris Attack Spots Is Arrested In Turkey
November 21,

media.npr.org_assets_img_2015_11_21_dahmani_turkey_custom_17665e5cb2cb5ac42ba443d1e4cfaaadee24.jpg

Anti-terror police detain a man identified as Ahmet Dahmani, an alleged ISIS member, in Antalya, Turkey, Saturday. One of three people arrested, Dahmani is accused of scouting locations for last week's terror attacks in Paris.

Turkish police have arrested a Belgian man of Moroccan origin who is suspected of being an ISIS operative who scouted the sites that were attacked in Paris last week. Ahmet Dahmani, 26, was arrested at a luxury hotel; two Syrian men were also arrested nearby.

Dahmani had reportedly been under surveillance since he flew on an airline to the seaside resort of Antalya – the same town that, just last weekend, hosted President Obama and other world leaders at the G-20 summit.

"There is an ongoing investigation into Dahmani's alleged contact with the perpetrators of the Paris attacks," Istanbul journalist Dalia Mortada tells NPR's Newscast unit. "According to a Turkish official, the terror suspect entered Turkey one day after the onslaught in Paris."

The arrest of Dahmani seems to have foiled an attempt to bring him back across Turkey's border and into Syria, according to police cited in local reports.

Saudi Arabia is playing an increasingly destabilising role in the Middle East, German intelligence warns | Middle East | News (independent.co.uk)

Saudi Defence Minister Mohammed bin Salman (2nd L), who is the desert kingdom's deputy crown prince and second-in-line to the throne, arrives at the closing session of the 4th Summit of Arab States and South American countries held in the Saudi capital Riyadh, on 11 November, 2015 FAYEZ NURELDINE/AFP/Getty Images

German intelligence has warned that Saudi Arabia is playing an increasingly destabilising role in the Middle East.

The country's foreign intelligence agency, known as the BND, released a memo to select journalists warning of the negative effects the game of thrones being played within Saudi Arabia's royal family could cause.

"The cautious diplomatic stance of the older leading members of the royal family is being replaced by an impulsive policy of intervention," said the memo, seen by the New York TImes.

The one and a half page memo focuses on the role of Prince Mohammad bin Salman, the 30-year-old son of King Salman who was recently appointed deputy crown prince and defence minister.

“The concentration of economic and foreign policy power on Mohammed bin Salman contains the latent danger that, in an attempt to establish himself in the royal succession while his father is still alive, he could overreach with expensive measures or reforms that would unsettle other members of the royal family and the population," the memo observes.

"That could overstrain the relations to friendly and above all to allied states in the region.”

Germany's Foreign Ministry in Berlin has distanced itself from the memo, saying the German Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, had issued a statement to say "the BND statement reported by media is not the position of the federal government."

US Intel: ISIS May Have Passport Printing Machine, Blank Passports

Dec 10, 2015

a.abcnews.go.com_images_International_ht_syrian_passport_lf_151210_4x3_992.jpg

PHOTO: A passport that law enforcement says was issued from ISIS-controlled territory in 2015, obtained in Istanbul.

With the U.S. and other countries on high alert for ISIS attacks, American authorities are warning the terror group’s followers may have infiltrated American borders with authentic-looking passports ISIS has printed itself with its own machines, according to an intelligence report obtained by ABC News.

The 17-page Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Intelligence Report, issued to law enforcement last week, says ISIS likely has been able to print legitimate-looking Syrian passports since taking over the city of Deir ez-Zour last summer, home to a passport office with “boxes of blank passports” and a passport printing machine. Another passport office was located in Raqqa, Syria, which has long been ISIS’s de facto capital.

“Since more than 17 months [have] passed since Raqqa and Deir ez-Zour fell to ISIS, it is possible that individuals from Syria with passports ‘issued’ in these ISIS controlled cities or who had passport blanks, may have traveled to the U.S.,” the report says.

Former Department of Homeland Security intelligence official and ABC News consultant John Cohen said, “If ISIS has been able to acquire legitimate passports or machines that create legitimate passports, this would represent a major security risk in the United States.”

Fake Syrian passports have already been discovered in Europe, most notably two used by suicide bombers in the horrific terrorist attack on Paris last month. The two men are believed to have slipped into Europe with a flood of Syrian refugees fleeing the violence in their homeland.

The HSI report’s last page contains a warning: “If ISIS ability to produce passports is not controlled, their operations will continue to increase and expand outside of their operational controlled areas.”
