I prefer more country from the 80s and 90s compared to most of what is being released now. Too much pop/ hip hop for my taste. Eventually trends will change. For here in Tulsa i listen to 99.5 a lot, hear lots of older music going back through several decades.
I'm with ya I tend to listen to the older 99.7/96.1 here in the city....just takes me back. But I am a huge fan of 90s country..it was the soundtrack to my life as I graduated high school in 94. ...met my wife in 97 and married in 99...
