2011 Deer cam pics..

I got some trophy bucks on camera last week..

they'll be trophies in a couple years!!

The first three pics are 200 yards from my house behind a pond dam, I went to refill the feed at the camera by my house, and low an behold I get 100 yards from the camera and there's the little buck and that doe bedded down at 12pm right below my house.. I spooked them and figured i'll stay out of there for about a week or so.. and the other 8 point is on my family land, lookin forward to seein that dude grow, I think he's a 2.5 yr old by the looks of his face.. I think this is him last season..

Brian....ever drive on 12th St? Cut wheat field just east of Western....morning and night....herd of 20 or so there everyday. Usually too far from the road to get a good look.
Need to take my spotting scope and get a better look.

I actually get the rice bran from Kings Feed in Newalla or S&S in Shawnee. You may be right, they are eating the feed like a shop-vac!

I just bought some property on the west side of Western about even with that herd that is zoned agricultural. I think I can hunt it and I am betting a corn pile there would do well. My wife doesn't like the idea though.

dang man, that one buck you have there is a giant!! I also hunt in lincoln county.. I think that people are really starting to let the younguns grow and we're really seeing that pay off these days. Keep the pics coming, I'm goin to check a cam monday, hopefully I get some good pics.

I dont beleive those are ticks. I think they are a type of mole (or something to that effect) and will be gone by the time hunting season is here. Surely someone can chime in here as to the scientific names of those mole type things.
