Nice Porter! I've got a 17 acre pond that geese (100's) are staying on. It's surrounded by a corn field that's been no tilled to wheat. They hop right off the pond and into the wheat about 8am, and then geese from every direction funnel into them. Wheat field is mega muddy and the landowner doesn't want anyone driving on it even when it's dry. Incredible potential, but I'm not sure if I want to work that hard lol.

Deer carts work pretty good. A few deer carts will haul in several dozen dekes. Or ease into pond after they leave so you are there when they come back for mid day loaf.

I like to cook my goose like a good steak. Medium rare and it tastes like a filet!

Its been a slow season for me so far and I have only been out a few time, but Sunday it all came together. 2 Man Limit in 16 Minutes.

Love seeing the kids get in on the action. We killed a lot of geese these past few days, but the highlight for me was taking a young man and his dad and putting him on some greenheads. Wish I would have taken a pic. He was proud of those birds!

Finally!!! What a dreadful season this has been for deer and waterfowl. But today was a refreshing hunt. Had birds piling in and a bunch of high flyers. We got 5 in thirty minutes before the storm hit. Shooting was no bueno though.
