It was a bust for us. Heard very little shooting and first light. Quiet after that

We had a good morning. Didn't get all the birds in the pic, but we killed a 6 man limit and the dog got all the work she could handle. I was extremely proud of her today. She made one of the longest most impressive retrieves I've ever witnessed on a cripple that was damn near 300 yards out over the back side of a dike.

Porter, I want to hunt with you just to watch the dog work. Nothing like seeing a dog at work on birds.

Love that dog Porter. I bet your hunts are a blast. I got a mixed bag tonight. Getting the new spot figured out. Birds are everywhere. Small groups would respond to calling and would decoy well. I lost a mallard that hit the water and went under and never came back up.
