2021 Deer Chatter/Pics/Excuses

Both of you guys have good bucks. Like retrieverman said in a couple of years and he’s still around it might make you want to hunt the yard deer.

Or if your still opposed, adopt me and I’ll do it for ya!

I do need an adopted child to mend fences, run the tractor, grade the road, and mow 3-5 acres with a push mower.

I got to see a buck I’ve been watching on camera for a couple or three months, and I’m hoping my son can get a shot at him this evening or in the morning.

I guess we only had two contestants for the "deer aging on the hoof" contest--- @dennishoddy and @undeg01 The results are in....

If I didn't know the deer I would of guessed 3.5 yrs old as well. I've been hunting this deer since either 2015 or 2016. Pictures from 2016 are as far back as I can find but I'm confident I had him on camera as a 3 yr old in 2015. So assuming he was 3.5 or 4.5 in '16 he's for sure either 8.5 or 9.5 yrs old now. I believe he was the biggest in 2018. Only seen him twice from the stand before last week. I have at least two of his sheds from years gone by as well.

That sway back and pot belly gives the age away showing it's an older buck.
We probably should have started a new thread on this as there is so much traffic in this one that people miss it.
Congrats again on getting him after watching his growth over the years.

First shot was a little off, rushed. Spine hit laid him down cold, but he was not dead. After raising his head to look around for a minute like he wanted to get up, I put another arrow through the lungs.
8 points with a funky crooked one.
