Not yet. Really close to same time every year. Of course a few does are bred in late October and early November. Peak breeding is November 10ish 24ish. However, no buck is gonna turn IT down outside of that window.
Too Warm
Had a mature buck chasing a doe for over 30 mins last night near Bristow. She wasn’t ready, but he was chasing her hard and running off a little fork that came in.
Had it been the fork chasing, I wouldn’t have given it another thought. But this was a buck that was at least 3 1/2 years old.
