.22 score

I don't have the time to look for ammo in stores like several of you but I haven't seen 500 round bricks in a store in well over a year.

I was killing time at the south Tulsa Academy this afternoon and they had two 500 packs of M22 behind the register so I asked the gun counter guy if they were for sale.

I don't know how but I walked out of there with a 1k rounds of .22 for $50. I got home and checked the lot #s against the recall notice and all is well.

Chalking this one up as a score. Rare for me but a score nonetheless.

Cool deal! I was at BassPro this afternoon and bought a brick of Federal Lightnings $23.90 They had plenty of it, although it was behind the counter.
