Got my first .22WMR rifle last week, and now I'm trying to feed it. Never paid attention to .22WMR ammo cost before since I had no use for it, but it's hard to believe that 5.56 is cheaper right now. Is this because the centerfire ammo bubble is bursting first, or was it this way before the craziness began?
War has never been cheap, in my opinion. It will be the last ammo to come down in price I think.
I paid .50 a round at the height of the shortage. Not sure what it's going for now as we've put the rifle up until we can find it readily. Great round though.

I bought some at Safety First In Edmond for $14/50rds...that was a month ago.
That's right around the norm that I see, when I can actually find it. Finding it is the hard part. Price isn't horrible.
That's about what I've been paying. Don't feel so bad now, but dang! May have to give up Copenhagen so I can shoot my 22 mag.

Walmart has it every now and then, winchester super x 40 grn jhp, very good stuff for $11 a box.
