Quite a few people are doing just that. :wink2: The "accuracy problems" with the AK are generally due to crappy commie ammo, and obsecenely rough, gritty, poorly fitted triggers. Winchester is offering White Box 7.62x39, as is CorBon, and the latest G2 triggers are at least as good as the majority of OEM AR trigger packs.

Russia's Right Arm is being co-opted by the Capitalists...LOL!

It may be a more costly setup than the gun if your dealing with a cheaper AK, such as the romainians. But most of the higher quality AKs like Arsenal ,Saiga builds, RAK, Vector, etc are 700-1500. Plus, you dont have to use an aimpoint. It will also work with the much more affordable aimpoint clones

There are a lot of people who have spent more on optics than on the rifle/pistol that they're mounted on. It seems ridiculous, and it is, but it isn't uncommon. The margin on optics is really, really high.
