Good shots, ones to really supplement one's vacation time. I've not tried to upload any phone photos to Smugmug yet. I might have to try that, just to see what is involved. My biggest issue would be trying to see what to push with such a small screen.

My son got a little "local flair" shortly after we arrived:

The last two days have been rainy most all the day, thanks to some extended tropical "waves" coming through. Today is sunny again, although they're saying Sunday and Monday another one will come through. Oh well... one week left here.

Here's some pics of Salt Whistle Bay in Mayreau, my favorite spot in the world:

My son actually driving the boat for about a half-hour, bringing it from the Tobago Cays to Mayreau and even around the rocks and into the bay. This is about a.... 50-foot catamaran? Maybe larger, I dunno.

Looked at some pieces of property yesterday that are up for sale, not sure I could afford any of them anyways, much less buy the property AND build on them
I've been investigating Ecuador. A lot of US expats retire there. Very cheap living and this condo is only 1 example of the low cost real estate. Medical is cheap, food too, public transportation is very good so you wouldnt have to owen a car unless you wanted.

Beautiful setting, but a beach side trip earlier this year here in Oregon taught us that we never want property that close to the ocean. Anything metal or wood deteriorates rapidly from the salt air. When we returned inland, we even took our Ford Expedition in to get a full wash job.

For sure. I lived across the road from the beach in asbury park NJ for a few months. Even the aluminum storm window frames were getting corroded from the salt spray.
