Tournament Rule Update:

We've had a few teams want to film their hunts, which is tough to do with only 3 people. So to clarify, the rules are that you can only have up to 3 REGISTERED hunters per team. If you want more people to tag along for filming, etc, then we're OK with it. But just be sure that only those registered as hunters actually call/shoot during your hunt. Let us know if you have questions.

Remeber you can prerigister and pay early for our contest with a check mailed in or via CC on your web page. We allow this so the our of town teams dont have to drive all the way to Mcloud two day in a row. If you decide to pay early please do not hesiate to call or text me at anytime with questions about rules or how our contest is ran. We have also extented out check in time to 8:45 for these teams as well.

Hope to see all of you guys/gals there.

You have one week from today to pregister by sending in a check or paying with a credit card for the North Canadian Coyote Contest on February the 8th. By doing this you do not have to show up on the 7th to pay. Should have a great turnout and plenty of money to be handed out to the winners.

The Oklahoma Youth Hunting and Shooting Program appreciates your donation to our program. Your contribution will allow us to introduce 10 additional children from non hunting homes to the outdoors. These children will experience their first all expense paid guided deer hunt for themselves and their adult mentor on private farms and ranches in Oklahoma. We have been blessed. Thank you.

Thank you North Canadian Outdoors! The OYHSP is an all volunteer operation and we are really grateful of your support. Like DeerSlayer said all funds we receive go directly to getting these kids in the outdoors. Many of our hunts are camping trips as well as the deer hunt. Nobody goes hungry on our hunts either, we have amazing volunteers who cook delicious hearty meals for our participants.

We had a great turn out this year, we had 120 teams enter in total. All the hunters in the field that day hunted hard and some had success and some did not. The winning team turned in 9 coyotes and 1 bobcat, 2nd place truned in 9 coyotes, and 3rd had 7. Prize payout was $8400/$2400/$1200. We will post all the details later today of total turned in and total payouts. I want to thank everyone that helped make this contest yet another success. Sooner State Pawn was very helpful in donating a S&W .223 AR15 so that we could have another successful raffle for the Oklahoma Youth Hunting and Shooting Program, Welmark was very helpful in making sure that we had enough to go around for everyone, and Allegiance Electric for providing the food and cooking for all the hungry hunters that made it back to check in. Keep and eye out on her for other contest coming up in the near future.
