Hey all just thought I would ask. Can't decide if I like the UBR on this longggg gun. What do you think? Black PRS and MIAD?

Doesn't need to be black (most of the places in OK where I hunt are full of dead grass - FDE and dead grass are a pair made in heaven), but I'd definitely go with a PRS over a UBR on a gun designed to reach out there.

If you haven't already bought yoru PRS, this website has the best deals I've found so far.

You can get an AR-15 PRS for $179.99 or an AR-10 PRS for $199.99.

I've been told you could use the AR-10 PRS on an AR-15 and it just provides for room for the charging handle...does anyone know if this is accurate?

Well I got it all changed over. Put the 16" 6.5G together with all the FDE stuff for hunting, etc. Now I need optics on both and a prs on the 24". Was thinking about a DMS-1 on the 16" and a Falcon Menace 4-14 FFP on the 24. You guys have any other suggestions?

Well, I would go with a standard A2 stock because it is LIGHT compaired to the PRS in both weight and price. It is just a sturdy and with the slant from the rear of the butt plate to the reciever it works great for long range shooting in conjunction with a rear bean bag. It is what I run on my 24" Prairie Dog rifle, and when they start getting that long, weight is definitly an issue. The scopes you listed would all be great choices. I think the money I saved on the butt stock...I would put into a real nice trigger like a J.P. or Gold (if you are real spendy)....if it doesn't have one already....but those are just my suggestions!
