6.5x47 Lapua

I am thinking about having a custom 6.5x47 Lapua built on a 700 Remington action. I have not decided on the barrel combination or trigger yet... Just looking for other or better options. Just give me your two cents!

Enjoy buying brass. 6.5x47 is awesome but I'd take a .260 or .243 over it for most tasks.

A lot of reading... Everyone I talk to has told me it is one the most accurate round they have ever tested. I am looking for one tac driving round for 1000 yard range. Plus long distance hunting.

I have a 16 yr old kid that can ring a 6'' gong 9 out of 10 time at 600 yards. He is going to make a real shooter in a few years. I hope!
