Just checked Graf and Sons for kicks and they have 100 rounds of Prvi brass for around $48. Out of stock on it though.

King's Pawn usually has PPU boxer primed ammo.
huntington reloading .com has 7.62 x 54 brass for $47 a 100 , plus lotts brass for odd ball cals

update: all three measured out in the .310-.311 area. i think i'll go ahead and load some of my 165gr bullets that i'm using in 30-06.starting out light with 41 gr of varget.
input-experience with this load or similar?

By the way dlbleak that's exactly how I've slugged my barrels for years.
Works fairly simply.
I've slugged all my milsurps, and they can be all over the place.
