9/22 GOP debate, ask a question

On Sept 22 Foxnews is hosting a GOP debate. If you have a Google account or open one, you can vote on which questions are asked or submit your own. I submitted,

Would you support a complete check of all Federal government agencies to remove all waste, fraud and duplication before raising taxes or cutting benefits?

If I were to ask a question:

Have you read the Constitution and do you think that the central government has overstepped the bounds of the 18 enumerated powers?

So ask. The more people get involved instead of just whining the better chance we have of making changes. All political animals want to be elected or re-elected, to do that they have to listen at least sometimes. If no one speaks up, they think no one cares what they are doing.

The question I had in mind has already been asked:

"Every president seems to add "Departments" during their term(s). Will you remove some departments from the US governmental system or will you create new ones? Elaborate on which ones you will add or remove."

We need a president with the courage and will to bring the monster of federal government growth to heal. Unless we start seriously shrinking the fed govt., it is going to eat us.

Yes. One reason I like the question is that it puts them on the spot. It's pretty difficult to duck and dodge it.
