Cut off or layed over or both? I was mentioning this on another thread earlier this evening, best looking wheat and canola in several years.

Both. The wheat was so good even after being beat to hell the sheer volume of forage it is still a foot or so off the ground. I should have stood out in it for perspective. It would have been about calf height on my leg whereas a few hours earlier is was over waist high.

Having formerly been in agriculture, your circumstances brings to mind too many times of looking at ruined crops.

Sorry it happened to you, and you are right in that the insurance won't compensate for the potential that you lost.
