For fun, I loaded Berger 90gr VLD's and hand fed them into my RRA 24" Varminter. Didn't chrono them, but got nice accuracy on a 6" Steel plate at 600 yd (Calm/ no appreciable wind). Couldn't get on paper or junked car at 1000 yd. Just not enough oomph to keep flying true at that range.

Maybe they have magic ammo for it...

About a year and a half ago, when I first heard about Rijas, I was looking for someone to build me a long range AR in .308.

I looked at their website, and it said to e-mail them with any questions, so I sent an e-mail asking them for options and pricing for building a gun.

The reply was basically, we are too busy to answer e-mail so try to call Rick.

Well from that reply, I decided they were not the kind of place I wanted to deal with.

A couple of weeks later, I see this "long range" AR in .223/.556 on their website. "You asked for it and we built it!"

Needless to say I never contacted them again, and have since learned that it was a good thing I didn't use them for an AR build.
