No deer seen opening weekend, but my buddy and I got a couple big sows down.

That was awesome seeing that coon climbing the tree you were in. Reminds me of some of the folks hunting bears when one of them tried to climb into the tree they were sitting in, as they were curious.

He was only about 5' under us before I realized what was going on, there were two more on the ground. Had to shew him away, the pic was taken as he was retreating lol.

Cold, wet, and slow on the river this morning. My northern most camera showed 32 for a short time around daylight, but the other 4 hovered around 34-37 until about 8. The dew was super heavy, and we got pretty wet walking in and getting in the stand. Only two does came in and not until almost 7:30, and I got quite a few pictures on the other cameras just not many deer. I think my daughter is a little disappointed, and I'm really hoping movement picks up this evening.

I told her that it's called hunting not shooting.
