Little odd but good enough to share. Wife and I have tried several brands of frozen green beans and have not been impressed. On a whim we decide to try Aldi steamer green beans and they are the best non-fresh picked we have eaten. Color, taste and texture are very good. Better than the name brands by far. Nuke for 7 minutes and ready to eat. Try them, you might like them. Watch when going to buy, they have others that are not as good.

We have a Crest and a Homeland close to us but we shop at Aldis first. I love their salads complete with dressing and croutons, I get two meals out of 1 $3 bag.

We use their green beans for wifey's sweet n sour green beans. Delicious!

So, you are saying that the green beans are a bit salty?

We always go to Aldi before other grocery stores, their prices beat the others-even the Commissary which is way overpriced.
