Any functionality issues with new site?

Yes, I closed the other thread. I read through 8 pages of "I don't like it" and the common theme was colors / italics. Kelly has fixed the Italics issue (thank goodness!!). And Kelly has announced that colors/formats will be worked on when site functionality is all working.

So... Does anyone have issues beyond color/format?

All you need to do to make them work, is remove the "forums/" from existing links.

I am sure everyone knows how to do this but I just learned about it a while back. If your view on the screen is small and difficult to read, simply hold down the Control (Ctrl) button and scroll with the mouse, if you mouse will scroll. That will reduce or increase the size of the view on the screen. I just increased the size of the view and made it a lot easier to read.

Yup! January 2007 is NOT the date I joined... I joined a year or more prior to that... But that issue has been around fore-ev-ar!!!!

All you need to do to make them work, is remove the "forums/" from existing links.

You can do a REPLACE() on the DB to fix the links in the posts and then mod_rewrite to clean up any straggler links from Google/WWW.

Had to do this very thing recently to migrate a Wiki to a new host. Didn't take too long.

Hard to find replies to posts. Used to be able to search on username and find all posts by a user. Unread threads highlighted. Type in your own name to find your posts. Now when you use the search function you only find threads started by the username and not all threads in which the user has posted.

I have noticed(insignificant but wanted to note it) that many posts within a thread; within a sentence that wraps from one line to the next, the word at the end of the line is repeated at the beginning of the next line. I think that makes sense....
