Any S&W 929 owners on here?

I found a nice one at a local shop. Thinking about it. It's not the Performance Center one but looks to be in very good, almost new condition. How much are the going for lately? He wants $1000 for this one.

$1049 Performance Center at buds. For the few extra bucks I would get it new.

IMHO, if the gun is not a Performance Center JM version, then I would not give more than $750.00 for the gun. Many of them are known to have light strikes on primers and require being sent back to Smith for a longer firing pin to be installed. YMMV, I agree with Doc, just dig a bit.
