Got my Riton in today. This is my first variable power at optic, and my first opinion is I don't care for it much, but time will tell. I will try to get to the range this weekend. Also picked up a poverty pony to put spair parts on.

What is it that you don't like about the scope?

I'm pretty impressed with mine. It has a true 1x that works like an illuminated prism scope for close range and at 4x the BDC reticle is set up for out to 600 yards.

It's the weight on this rifle, the rifle had a micro red dot and bus. Now it throws the ballance and weight off from what I'm use to. Add to I can't keep my bus makes me sad. Time will tell.

Yes they are heavier than a micro red dot for sure and that will take some getting used to for me also but my old eyes are needing some help past 50 yards these days.

YEAH!!! They finally showed up. Speer African Grand Slam .458cal 500gr Tungsten core solids.
These are near impossible to find and have been discontinued since 2003ish. I've been on the lookout for some for 5 years (long before I got the Lott) and they finally showed up on Gunbroker.

I would be most happy to help you load and shoot those up! I'm just a nice guy like that!
