Got this nice bnib 10/22 model #1103 from a great member of our community yesterday and I'm happy as can be. Question...are the rotary magazines the best option for these? I plan on mainly squirrel hunting but wouldn't mind sitting at the picnic table a doing a little plinking too so a magazine with more capacity would be great.

The rotary mags seem to cycle better right out of the box, the BX25 mags can be a little problematic when they’re brand new but they smooth out after running some rounds through them. I think part of the problem is the BX25 mags have a little wiggle, the 10 round rotary mags fit a little better.
Kidd sells a mag release plunger with a heavier spring that improves the seating position of the 25 round mags quite a bit, takes almost all of that wiggle out. Runs about $13.
