I'm not up to speed on SBR regs, so go easy...

This Uzi shoots 9mm handgun ammo, and not 'rifle calibers'. Isn't this essentially like a Taurus Judge or 44mag wheel gun?

With a stock on it it becomes an SBR and falls under NFA regs, caliber has nothing to do with it.

The barrel may be 16 inches . There is a lot of it on the inside the gun.

Saw that earlier today. And I also noticed an SKS and an RPK for incredibly low prices, with a similar, non-descriptive text. I smell scam.

Not that this is probably the case, but didn't they sell those back in the day with a "display short non funtioning barrel" along with a legal 16 inch barrel?

Yes, they came with a 16" barrel and with a non functional standard length barrel for display only.

If the barrel that is on there now is real, it's a 10" barrel. The bolt appears to be slotted so it's supposed to be a semi-auto. They did sell the UZI's with a 16" barrel and a non functional 10" barrel.

These were sold as a carbine. The non-functioning "barrel" is actually only about 5" long, it has a flange on the breech end that's held in place by the barrel nut. It does not have a hole or chamber in the breech end. The hole in the end of the dummy is only about 1/2" deep. They also have a folding stock built in. That looks like the butt plate at the end of what appears to be a wood stock. I'm thinking that is some type of cover over the folding stock. Or it may be some accessory I've never known about. I was thinking the bracket for the folding stock is riveted on, but I'm not sure.

If the price is too good to be true.........................................

I would think if the actual barrel was available it would be in the weapon or at least in the photo.
