No problem, OKCH! There was a guy that had a big industrial sewing machine that did leather work at the motorcycle swap meets. That was in the late 80s, early 90s. I think they called him Preacher, but I can't remember for sure. It looked like it could cripple you and then some if you didn't pay attention.

By hand, there are different stitching methods, and if you use a stitching awl that feeds it is even fancier, but I went with the simple back and forth pattern like this guy. Notice the cut groove for the stitching to recess in:

Watch this saucy devil. Two needle example starts at about 2:58. It's easy!

I do leather work. Unfortunately I lost all the pics of my recent work. Here is a sling I made about 15 years ago...it's been used every year through bad elements...the tooling is worn, but it works great. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1416883312.565810.jpg
