Anyone tried the new Hodgdon's CFE powder?

I just read some really good reviews for it in the latest Hodgdon's Reloading manual, but on the other hand, I've never met a salesman that sold the "second best product".

Anyway, it looks interesting, I'll probably get some as soon as I can find it. It might just be the cat's meow for my Mini-14.

The newest powder is always the best one.

Yes, I've tried it in a 223. Thus far accuracy is not as good as with the powder I was already using. It's too early for me to comment on copper fouling.

I pickup a 1 lb to try , the 2013 annual shows more cals you can use it in now.

I'm using it in 308 with 175gr match kings and 30/30 with 160gr FTX I like it. Good stuff. can't say anything about temp sensitivity its fast with no pressure signs.

My son-in-law is picking some up for me, either Heartland or H&H. It should arrive within an hour or so, along with my 2 grandkids, daughter and him. I'm eager to give it a try. I don't like using Sweets 7.62.
