IF training people for combative response against legitimate threats to our homeland, what would everyones response be?

There ya go. Everyone can get firearms training if they want to get off the couch. Join a National Guard or Reserve unit if young enough to learn combat tactics.
There are a whole lot of wannabe's that offer combat training on YouTube. Some are pretty hilarious.
Nobody is going to be a one person combat unit. It takes a lot more.
