These four and thought "I am Legend" was pretty good!

I was going to say Dr. Strangelove, or it's serious twin, Fail-Safe, but I guess they're really "pre-apocalyptic." The Book of Eli is really good, perhaps one of the best, and the Mad Max trilogy is right up there.

On the Beach is pretty good, but it has a serious Egg McMagnum ending.

And is there no love for Damnation Alley?
