I understand your doubt, but this is coming from retired AF flight line manager/aircraft mechanic, so he should have a pretty good gauge of what was going on. It was over a populated area (he was close enough to see inside the open door of the chopper), and there have been very similar exercises in other cities that did make it in the news: http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2012...ary-maneuvers-in-the-skies-above-downtown-la/

I am wondering if anyone actually DID see it.
I see them out and around, just not 150 ft over houses. I've seen them 3-500ft agl over populated areas.
They were just doing training maneuvers. There are no altitude restrictions on helicopters regardless of population density. Max angle of bank in a UH60 is 60 degrees.
Im well aware of faa regs, as long as it doesnt cause hazard or damage to person or property. I rarely see any mil stuff doing training maneuvers over peoples houses. Due to noise and other mitigating factors. Your a guard unit? What are you guys flying the alpha models?
I saw a couple of Blackhawks fly over during the daytime within the last few days. I get a kick out of watching military aircraft fly over the house. Probably the most interesting thing I've seen flying over the house was an AWACS doing a mid-flight refueling.
I see them pretty frequently in my travels, fun looking aircraft.

It was probably getting ready to light up the BA casino that they appear to be moving forward with despite not having approval.

:)

Who do they need approval from? Tribe owns the land, so.. it's none of BA or Tulsa County or the State of Oklahoma or the U.S. gov't's bidness.

It is dry practice run for when international forces come in and go door to door for gun confiscation.

They plan to use the blackhawks to take care of a$$holes like me that will fight to the death during a gun confiscation.

They best bring a sack lunch, they will be at my place for awhile.

I work a few miles away from that area, and the blackhawks are a common sight during the day. 150 feet is a little closer to the deck than I have seen them fly but didnt see it so cant comment.

My unit flies a mix of A+ and L. The A+ is more or less an A with upgraded engines.
