Also a good point to bring up is cities will starve first. I doubt even with Fema/National Guard internvetion food and water would be rapidly dispensed.
And the those that are the reasons you carry will be the first to gang up and move out into the suburbs looking for supplies.
So if bugging in it might be good to make it as though your domicile has been looted already.
Debris outside the door, rig up a secondary door to make it look as though the front door is damaged.

Tough call, I live in Warr Acres so it's the middle of a city. That being said bugging out has its own set of problems, like where to go? For now, the plan is bugging in.

Bug in unless you have a location ready for you and can get there safely. That said if you bug in, you have to be ready to run if things get bad.

Can you not get out of War Acres?

I like the town of Warr Acres as they keep the government relatively small, in comparison to say OKC. Always get fast police and fire response and have trash pickup twice a week, with our own cans. Someday after the kids are gone, we may move but not yet.
