I’m looking to start slowly collecting equipment to cast lead bullets. Right just looking for furnace and molds in 45acp .452 in between 190-220 gr., 45colt .452 in between 300-340 gr., 45-70 .457/.458 in 360-400 gr.
If I could find a large chunk of stuff, I may be willing to trade my Savage 300wm for it. If you don’t have the value of the 300wm, in just the cast bullet equipment, I’m always looking for reloading equipment/components, as well as scopes, and really never know what might peak my interest.

One word of advice - skip the small lead pot like the Lyman “Big Dipper” and get a larger bottom pour furnace. I made that mistake and used mine maybe twice before upgrading to an RCBS Pro Melt (original).

I was looking at the Lee 4-20, with a pour lever. I had the smaller Lee with pour handle, for pouring my fishing weights, jig heads, etc., but, of course when I decided to do the bullets, I’ve looked in any and everything nook and cranny in my belongings, it has clean vanished into thin air. Only thing I can figure is someone snatched it out of my shop.
I will look at the rcbs for sure, thank you sir!

I got a Lee 4-20 for a Christmas present and it works great.
I used to just melt my lead in a stainless pan on an electric stove then a camp fire or propane grill.. either way it got the job done.
But I do love my 4-20.
