Is this ad misleading? The header clearly says Black Friday Sale, Nov. 20-26.
Maybe it's me not reading fine print but I find it deceptive. I drove 40 miles one way only to have my items in my basket
ring up at regular prices. I never liked their credit card anyway so I cut it up. I have never in my life complained to a store manager
but this time I did. They would not honor the sale price. There were other customers waiting in line and they agreed it was bait and switch. Oh well.
I was after the smoker on page 5, saw the header sale date and went to page 5.

Seems like it's a flyer for the week with banners showing dates effective for particular items. Doesn't look "Bait and Switch" to me.

I would have been LOUD and MAD. Everyone in the place would have been made aware.

Cabelas has fallen far since the old days- especially since BassPro bought them…….. I guess I’m getting old when I start posting stuff like that. I remember when my dad would call and place the order over the phone, it was that or mail it in.

I see the same at other stores.
Got the Atwood’s online flyer awhile back that had a killer deal on some Dewalt tools. Blazed out there and found the sale was two days later.
Didn’t read the fine print which was my fault.

Both stores suck anyway. Shop at Academy which has more sane prices and isn't run by fudds.
