Cabelas is coming to Wichita, Ks

I think I am going to have to check out that fort worth cabelas next time I am in the area. I have always enjoyed the cabelas in Sidney, NE better than any bass pro with the exception of the Springfield Bass pro being pretty nice.

Well that's a bit closer than than the Cabela's in KC. I agree Cabela's is far and away better than Bass Pro.

Well, I checked the mileage.

From where I live (SW of OKC), Fort Worth's store would be about 3-5 miles closer and a lot better road on I-35. Besides, going up I-35 to Kansas you hit their turnpike getting into Wichita.

$1.90 toll each way, or you could take the last free exit west of I35 to Wellington Ks and go up that way. Its free, but not as quick.

There's a lot of stores I wish would move to OKC.
But I don't see many doing it in the economy.
Maybe some day.
