21 CC class is good for 3 yrs I believe. Have to be 21 to get your permit, and 21 to buy a handgun (legally) You may find someone willing to give you the class before you are 21.
PS- I don't think there is an age limit...just a minimum age requirement

21 here w/ cc. took the class the day after i turned 21 too.

You do not have to be age 21 to take class, but must be 21 to apply for OK SDA permit. The class certificate is good for an unlimited number of years. Past legislative efforts to establish "sunset" for a certificate have not succeeded.

corrected your statement. It is legal for someone under 21 to purchase a private party pistol.
