Christmas Music. Who do you prefer?

Yep ... One of these day I am gonna get GC to take me to one of their Christmas shows. Hear it is spectacular.

I went last year. I thought it was pretty good.

I like the sounds of silence...

none...absolutely none.

years of being subjected to the same lame ass pop Xmas music for two months a year made me hate Xmas music as a whole......

Glad I'm not the only one. I think Christmas music should only be played the week of Christmas.

Can't stand the same hand full of songs being butchered over and over by some "artist" who thinks they are putting a "creative" spin on something. I can not stand it in the stores. It makes me really aggressive. One year I actually punched one of the Eskimo Joe mascots at the mall. I was about to be smothered by the shopping crowd and the Eskimo Joe was trying to hug me!! I had to punch it and push it off of me!!

Yep, that and other classics sung by Sinatra, Cole (The Christmas Song!), etc.

The guitar player in me digs The Ventures Christmas record, as well as the Merry Axemas series.

And the Rudolph record brings me back to my childhood.

Also, the Christmas shoes song makes me cry unless it's the cover by FM Static, somehow the up tempo keeps the water works down.
