Remember when you could push against the rear bumpers of vehicles with the front bumper of your vehicle and never get a scratch.

Now it takes how many guys to push a car down the road?

And remember when you could easily find a point under a car to hook a strap to.
And if that strap hit the bumper during a pull the bumper would not fall off.

Dang plastics.

I always offer to pull vehicles out of a ditch or snow bank. They are always so fragile these days that I require them to hook up the strap on their end so I don't get stuck with a liability issue.

Once Upon a Time-
Automobiles were made to last & be repairable.
Now they are made to trash, & disposable.

https://corporate.ford.com/articles/history/the-model-t.htmlMr. Ford's 1908 'Tin Lizzy' (Model T) came equip'd
with it's own Tool Kit & was made of tough, light
Vanadium Steel.
His Model T's engine proved fairly adaptable for
use with other fuels besides gasoline, as well.
