I was given a bunch of deer meat by a friend of my wife. It was all harvested and processed last season by her husband who passed a few months ago so I can't really ask him about it.
It was processed at Sallee Meat Processing. I've tried to contact them but their phone appears to be off the hook and they haven't responded to my email.
Do any of you know if they smoke/cook their snack sticks or do they need to be cooked? I thawed a package last night in the fridge and am wanting to smoke them today if that's the right thing to do?!?!
I also have an enormous amount of brats with pepper jack if anyone wants some! Planning to throw a package in the smoker too.
Gonna chicken fry backstraps for dinner tonight.
