I believe what you are talking about is if the gun was dropped then it was possible for it to go off.

No, there’s a video floating around of an officer in a police department lobby that his Sig P320 fired while in the holster and nothing touching the trigger.

I haven’t heard of that one yet. Sooner or later I’ll see it. Makes me think it may be the holster. Kind of like the old Tupperware boxes for Glocks.

Finger on trigger while holstering a Glock would be statistically likely.
He retrieved a pistol, loaded it and went to holster it I bet.
Literally thousands of cops and civilians have Glocked a floor before. One big reason I carry a 1911.
Good thing no one has ever shot a floor with a 1911.
