I think just traveling. They're not in the attic at all, I don't think they're in the eves or soffets.
They'll jump from the trees on the west side of my property to the tree that's by the SW corner of the roof, jump to the roof, and run across to the trees on the east side that they can reach. Or vice versa.
Trap and relocate across town or dispatch and relocate underground. Only temporary but reduces the population somewhat. Shooting is illegal in Tulsa so you have to be discreet.
Owl don’t work for pigeons I know. Had a srevice contract on a building. The condensate from the ac units made it dangerous as Hell with all the crap on a TPO roof. Didn’t even want to touch the unites to work on them. Heck, I saw them sitting on the owls and they were covered in Sh!y also. Despicable birds.
The owls are not what they seem….
