Do you own more than 1 of the same pistol?

Just got my first optic for my HD pistol and am planning on going to the range to zero it next week. If I like it, I can foresee wanting to put one on my EDC. Unfortunately my EDC (Walther PPS M2) isn't optic cut. I've been thinking about possibly getting a P365, a Hellcat RDP, a Shield or a Kimber R7 Mako, but then I started thinking that being how I like my little Walther so much, why don't I just get the optic version? My LGS has them with a Holosun 407K for like $635.

I like my Ruger EC9s so much that I bought extras. One is EDC and if I ever (heaven forbid) lose it, or have to give it up for any reason, I have a backup.

Hate to confess but i have 2 686 smith's. one no dash, the other a -3 bought both with in 2 weeks of the other also both 4". then bought a 4" 629 mountain gun two weeks after that. I'm spoiled for Smith's

I always wanted a marched pair of Ruger Security Six stainless with 6in barrels. My favorite revolver as they just feel right in my hand.

I think it was Cooper who said, “ if you find a perfect product, they’ll quit making it..” so anything ( like a ruger mk2)- you really like- not a bad idea to have a spare..

Ever since the boating accident, no, but I have owned multiples of guns I liked in the past. Usually, it happened because I ran across a screaming hot deal on a gun I'd held for a long time; I don't recall ever buying two at one time or setting out to add a duplicate to my collection.
