Does Anyone Name Their Guns?

Yes. All my pistols, shotguns, and bolt-action rifles are named "assault rifles."

I've named two, so far. I have a Colt 1903 pocket pistol named Samantha, after her daddy. I also have an older Winchester 1300 12 gauge named Winifred.

Yeah, my rifle is aptly named Two-Seventy, My 1911 is named Forty-Five, My Shotgun is just named Shotgun, and my .22LR is called Twenty-Two.

See, my comp gun and my carry gun i just refer to by model, not by a pet name for the same reason, they're tools to be used. The two that do have names are older, in one case, more rare, and a bit nostalgic, hence the names.

Its just like my Jeep having a name, but none of my other cars did. My Jeep has some personal history and meaning, hence the name.

Yeah but it's pronounced "Deeohjee" so it sounds Asian. LOL

I think all my handguns must be named "Low & Left" because that what I always hear my buddies saying when they're watching me shoot :-p
