My wife has names for hers. One of them - a EAA Witness, blued, in 38 Super she calls Mr. Olympia - she is not being racially insensitive here so stop thinking like that. To her it makes sense - it's large, dark and muscily A .357 she calls Hank. She has plans to purchase a derringer and have a butterfly engraved into the grip and will name it Dolly. There are others too and one she hasn't decided on a name for. I am not sure what to think of it as I don't name my weapons.
