I still go to the Winchester on Western in OKC.

I NEED to drag my 13 and 14 year olds to the Winchester while we still can. I'll make it a must do this spring.

I can remember being a teen with my pickup my buddies and I with a few cases of brews and a kung fu marathon enjoyed the night at 14 flags. popped chairs up in the bed and had a blast

I was really sad when the Starlite closed in Shawnee. Had a lot of good times there.

First movie I remember going to was "True Grit" at the drive-in with the family. First real date went to see Rambo at the drive-in, although we didn't watch the movie.

When I was a kid in Claremore, my dad worked at a Phillips 66/Howard Johnson travel plaza on the Will Rogers turnpike. There was a drive in right next door.

Dad usually worked 3-11, so on Friday nights we would go visit him. You could see the movie from the south end of the parking lot, but you couldn't hear it.

Howard Johnsons also had the best coffee, chocolate ice cream and brownies I ever had.

It looks like that old drive-in is back in operation.
