I agree nasty critters. I like to hunt them and eat them, but raising them is kind of a pain. We have two now with our chickens. Their eggs are okay to cook with but I like the chickens better. Chickens are like two legged garbage disposals. Geese are much cleaner as far as water fowl.
my granny used to love baking with duck or goose eggs rather than chicken eggs. I guess they're richer or something? hellifIknow i'm no baker.
This is what my granny said, also ... She would bake with her goose eggs and use the chicken eggs for eating ...
Mykah ... if you decide to get some ducks I'll swap you some rabbit meat (or quail, if you'd rather) for some duck breast ...
I'll even come help you butcher when the time comes ... 
Take one or 2 duck every night and you can blame it on coyotes or raccoons.
Grannys are pretty smart. My hub and i keep trying to get his two aunties to write down some of their wisdom they are 84 & 90 and neither of them feel like they have anything worth sharing, they think all that stuff they did as a kid just has no use in the world today.
I'll be honest, I like my ducks better than my chickens. Their eggs are also much richer/meatier! I have yet to eat these domestic ducks, mostly because I hunt ducks and love the flavor of the wild meats. But their time is coming.
