Ducks

I'll be honest, I like my ducks better than my chickens. Their eggs are also much richer/meatier! I have yet to eat these domestic ducks, mostly because I hunt ducks and love the flavor of the wild meats. But their time is coming.

From experience, both are good. Domestic is way better then divers, but not as good as wood or teal, IMO

I had ducks a couple times, never again. Just to nasty. They do make excellent meat for chilli, chile, chilly....everhow its spelled.

The wood ducks are excellent fare. Real close to white meat on them. We don't get a lot of them in my area, but hunting them back east in the day we took a lot of them.

Hmmmmm ... well ... It looks like I might be getting a couple of ducks ... It wasn't on purpose ... I SWEAR ... : Just kinda worked out that way ...

So ... while the weather is nice Monday and Tuesday you guys will not see me ... I'm gonna be fixing up a pen for the ducks in the back ...
