been on the hunt for an affordable S&W .22 LR revolver ....finally scored a S&W model 18 K-22 w/4in barrel, trigger is silky smoooooth....

single action breaks at 2lb 12oz with zero creep.
DA breaks at 9lb 9oz ... action was so smooth, it felt much lighter. checked readings three times thinking there must be a mistake.

has rubber grips, which will do until I find the original wood ones.
can't wait to shoot model 18 ...

must be on a roll... also scored a Ruger Single 6 .22lr the day before.

Looks just like mine when I got it 20+ years ago. Mine is an older model - 1948 vintage. It had Pachmeier grips on it and I found a set of the old model diamond checkered grips at our local flea market/junk sale for $1.50. I let my son have it a few years ago to go with my old Model 67 .38 when he got out of college. The S&W K-22 revolvers are timeless pieces.
