Fire Piston

Hey, does anyone have a Fire Piston? I kind of gather fire starting devices, and this one intrigues me.

If anyone is interested I found some that offer group discounts. I am thinking of picking up a couple of Scout Fire Pistons at the bottom of this page.

Fire Pistons are awesome. One of those technologies that's been around forever and native peoples all over the world have been using.

BTW, I've had a design for a MIGHTY PEN version of a Fire Piston for a while now and hope to be able to bring it to market sometime soon. It will employ the use of cartridge cases as all of my products do and will be reasonably priced unlike some of the other ones out there.

a 9v battery, and 0000 steel wool will make a fire anywhere including the artic or the amazon.

I do agree its a nice item.
